Marz Community Club was designed in collaboration with architect Charlie Vinz of Adaptive Operations. The club's interior was inspired by Chicago’s athletic clubs and immigrant-run social clubs that were a haven for newcomers. These places were meant for gathering, collaboration and inevitably sharing of ideas and experiences. Non-Gendered bathrooms nod to the community driven narrative of Ed Marszewsi, the owner, with their signs boasting "Everyone" and "All of Us". Other design details include a hand-upholstered ceiling in blue and green, communal seating bar tables with linoleum speckled tops, a smiley-face beer tap wall, custom ceramic lighting and a cherry-wood frieze created by Goodrich.
